Thai Massage for Relaxation and Stress Relief

By May Thai Therapy · Woolmer Green, Knebworth · Updated 14 October 2026

Thai massage helps you relax by combining slow, rhythmic pressure with gentle stretching, which releases physical tension and gives your mind a break. If relaxation is your main goal, choose a gentler style such as Relax Thai Therapy or Aromatherapy Thai, and ask for light to medium pressure.

Which massage is most relaxing?

  • Relax Thai Therapy: our gentlest full-body massage, with light to medium pressure.
  • Aromatherapy Thai: flowing oil strokes with a scented oil, such as lavender, chosen by you at no extra cost.
  • Hot stone: warmth instead of heavy pressure (90 min, £135).
  • Traditional Thai: more stretching and energising, but still deeply calming for many people.

How to get the most relaxing session

  1. Arrive five minutes early and avoid a heavy meal or alcohol beforehand.
  2. Tell your therapist you want a quiet, relaxing session. Talking is optional.
  3. Choose 90 minutes if you can. It gives time to fully switch off.
  4. Pick a calming oil from our oil menu.

“Everything was handled smoothly, and Vicky was warm and professional. I left feeling very relaxed and happy with the experience.”
