What is a full body massage?

A full body massage covers your back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, legs and feet, and often the scalp too. It is the treatment to choose when you want to unwind completely, or when tension seems to be everywhere rather than in one spot. You can have it relaxing or firm. Simply tell your therapist which you prefer.

Choose your style of full body massage

All of these cover the whole body, and each feels different:

• Aromatherapy Thai: oil massage on Thai pressure points with your choice of oil. Relaxing with some depth.
• Thai hot oil: warm oil and long, flowing strokes. Very soothing.
• Swedish massage: classic long strokes with light to medium pressure.
• Thai Deep Mix: Thai stretches blended with deep tissue, head to toe. The pick for firm pressure all over.
• Traditional Thai: clothed, no oil, with pressure points and stretching through the whole body.
• Relax Thai Therapy: gentle and unhurried.

Each is £70 for 60 minutes or £105 for 90 minutes. For a real full body treat, try hot stone massage or a Thai body scrub (£135 each).

60 or 90 minutes?

Sixty minutes is enough for a thorough full body massage. Ninety minutes gives your therapist time to spend longer on problem areas such as the lower back or shoulders without rushing the rest. If you are driving in from Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage or further afield, many clients feel 90 minutes makes the trip worthwhile.
