Thai Body Scrub: What to Expect

By May Thai Therapy · Woolmer Green, Knebworth · Updated 14 October 2026

A Thai body scrub is a full-body exfoliation with a natural scrub, followed by a rinse and a moisturising oil massage. It leaves skin soft and smooth. At May Thai Therapy it is a 90-minute treatment costing £135, in a room with its own en-suite shower.

Step by step

  1. A short chat about your skin, allergies and any sensitive areas.
  2. You undress to your comfort level and are covered with towels.
  3. A natural scrub is massaged over the body, section by section.
  4. You rinse off privately in the en-suite shower.
  5. The session finishes with a moisturising massage.

Benefits

  • Removes dry, dull skin.
  • Leaves skin soft and ready for moisturiser.
  • Combines pampering with a relaxing massage.

Who it suits

People with dry skin, anyone preparing for a holiday or event, and as a gift.

Preparation and safety

  • Do not shave or wax on the day, because freshly shaved skin can sting.
  • Skip it with sunburn, broken skin, rashes or active skin conditions.
  • Tell us about allergies to oils or ingredients.

Massage is not suitable for everyone. Tell your therapist about any injury, recent surgery, blood-clot history, heart condition, or skin condition before you start. If in doubt, check with your GP first. For an acute injury, see a GP or physiotherapist before booking.

Body scrub vs other 90-minute treatments

All £135 for 90 minutes: Thai body scrub for skin, hot stone for warmth and herbal compress for stiff joints.
